Wire and die sinking EDM of small and medium-sized workpieces in conductive materials such as steel, special steels or nickel-based alloys as well as aluminium alloys. Initial hole EDM (in connection with wire EDM) is also possible.
The advantage of honing is that the workpiece does not have to rotate (unlike cylindrical grinding).
During honing, an average roughness Ra of up to 0.2 μm can be achieved. This makes it possible to achieve very demanding tolerance values.
