Surface treatment

The functionality of a product is largely determined by its surface finish. We offer our customers a wide range of surface treatments.

At RCM ESTECH AG in Burgdorf BE, we operate our own extremely efficient and modern paint shop for wet painting and powder coating. For the other finishing processes, we work together with selected, specialised partner companies.

Wet painting and powder coating

Best quality surface treatment. Give your product the necessary corrosion protection.

We process lacquers in gloss, silk gloss and matt, fine and coarse structure as well as in all common colour scales and of course take into account the prescribed heat resistance. Our painting technology is of a high technical standard.

Know-how

RCM ESTECH AG has many years of know-how and modern technical equipment. We only use environmentally friendly and ecological products and processes. Our environmental management system is certified according to ISO 14001.

Know-how

Pre-treatment is the be-all and end-all for a flawless coating. We process stainless steels for use in the food and life science sectors on our in-house equipment, as well as carbon steels on separate equipment. We process larger volumes in cooperation with our external partners.

In the field of metal finishing, we work together with regional, specialised partner companies.

FINISHING PROCESSES

Galvanising:
Nickel plating, electroless nickel plating, chrome plating, zinc plating. Galvanically applied layers give the base material the specific properties it lacks: corrosion resistance, wear protection, electrical conductivity, chemical resistance or defined optical properties.
Anodising:
Anodising of aluminium in a wide range of colours. The layer is very hard and can be produced true to size within narrow tolerances.
Electropolishing and pickling of stainless steels.
Brushing, grinding and polishing:
The right finish for the perfect surface.
